Scientific Prizes

Many ERC grantees receive scientific prizes for their cutting-edge work. This ranges from honours conferred by universities and funding organisations to distinctions given by national prize committees and the most prestigious international bodies. Their success, recognised by these accolades, show the impact of the ERC as a funder of frontier research.

This “hall of fame” presents ERC grantees who went on to become laureates of some of the most renowned scientific awards, including the Nobel Prize, the Fields Medal and the Wolf Prize, and many more.
