Bogna Hryniszyn is the Director of the Excellence in Science Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the unit responsible for the promotion of the ERC grants in Poland and providing support for researchers applying for these grants. She is also the Manager of the PASIFIC project  - a postdoctoral fellowship programme, co-funded by the European Union under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND scheme.
Previously she was the head of the Mobility Unit of the National Contact Point, acting within the structure of the Institute of Fundamental Research Problems of the Polish Academy of Sciences and fulfilled the role of  National Contact Point for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and European Research Council and member of the MSCA & ERC Programme Committees. 
She is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University.
