Marcin Korecki has received a PhD from ETH Zurich for his highly interdisciplinary work focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Complexity and Philosophy. Prior, he had studied at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. During the course of his PhD he had also spent half a year at the University of Tokyo in Japan. Currently he is a post-doctoral researcher at ETH Zurich and a visiting researcher at the TU Delft in the Netherlands.

He has been a contributor to two ERC projects, Co-Evolving City Life and Dit4Tram, working on designing decentralized, self-organizing solutions for urban environments. His research studies the limits of technology and the risks inherent to its unbridled application, especially in social contexts. The interdisciplinarity of his work compels him to collaborate with researchers and organizations from a variety of disciplines.
