European Research Council to meet world leaders in Davos 2013

The prominent idea in this year's forum is to catalyse actions for putting science, technology and innovation on the global agenda. The ERC delegation is composed of :
- Prof. Helga Nowotny, President of the ERC
- Sir Tim Hunt, member of the ERC Scientific Council and Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medecine 2001
- Prof. Serge Haroche, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics 2012 and ERC 2009 Advanced grant holder
- Prof. Jules Hoffman, Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medecine 2011
- Prof. Viola Vogel, ERC panel chair and head of the Laboratory of Applied Mechanobiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich
A dedicated session chaired by Prof. Nowotny will invite participants to brainstorm about the new trends, technologies and discoveries that will impact society in broad areas
