Maria Leptin at Wired Health 2023

On 22 March at 17:10 CET, ERC President Maria Leptin will participate remotely in the Wired Health 2023 event, taking place in Milan, Italy. The livestreamed one-to-one conversation will focus on the role of European research in meeting the challenges of today’s world and on the ERC.

More broadly, the theme of the 2023 Wired Health edition will be research, to analyse and explore how the increasingly pervasive use of digital technologies is impacting scientific research, but also industry, investors, institutions, and patients, starting with the rules and procedures that regulate the relationships between public and private operators in the field. A new framework that requires new technological skills and the search for ways to relate to stakeholders and the public using understandable and empathetic languages and codes.
