Ewa Gruszczyńska
Ewa Gruszczyńska, PhD, is a professor of psychology at SWPS University, where she has been affiliated since 2003 and currently holds the position of Vice-Rector for International Affairs. She was a DAAD fellow at Freie Universität Berlin and, from 2013 to 2016, a member of the Executive Committee of the European Health Psychology Society.
Professor Gruszczyńska is the author of more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and sits on the editorial boards of Anxiety, Stress & Coping, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being, and Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. She also reviews for international research funding agencies.
Her research addresses stress and coping processes. Her most recent project, funded by the Polish National Science Centre (NCN) within the Polish–German Beethoven programme, investigates the psychological benefits of providing social support for those who offer it.
