Full Professor of Systems and Control at the University of Trento, Italy

Giulia Giordano is a Full Professor of Systems and Control at the University of Trento, Italy, where she leads the Dynamical Networks and Systems Biology group. She received her PhD with honours from the University of Udine, following research visits to Caltech and the University of Stuttgart. Before joining Trento, she was a Research Fellow at Lund University and an Assistant Professor at TU Delft.

Giulia has received numerous international awards, including the SIAM Control and Systems Theory Prize in 2021, the NAHS Best Paper Prize in 2017 and the EECI Ph.D. Award in 2016.

Her research focuses on the analysis and control of dynamical networks, with applications in the life sciences.
