Odeta Limaj

Odeta Limaj is the Coordinator of the Condensed Matter Panel PE3 at the ERC Executive Agency. During her appointment at ERCEA she has also worked in the PE2 fundamental physics panel and in the Synergy call.

Odeta is an experimental condensed matter physicist. She graduated from Sapienza University of Rome studying low energy behaviour of high temperature superconductors. In her PhD she shifted towards plasmonics and metamaterials, continuing this line of research during her visiting appointment at Photonics Center at Boston University. Finally, during her postdoc at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne she focussed on mid-infrared biosensors for label-free sensing.
