Rui Munhá

Rui Munhá is a Science Officer at the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) since 2014. His expertise spans European research policy, frontier research, researcher mobility and careers, institutional capacity building, and national participation strategies in EU funding programmes. He is Portugal’s National Delegate to several Horizon Europe committees, as well as to the ERA Forum and COST Governing Board. He is the coordinator of the Scientific Team of the ERC-Portugal Pre-Assessment Programme. Rui holds a PhD in Chemistry (2011) and has conducted research in Lisbon, Vancouver, Irvine and Aveiro.
