The ERC delegation is composed of:
- ERC President, Prof. Jean-Pierre Bourguignon
- Dr Theo Papazoglou, Support to the ERC Scientific Council
- Prof. Walter Salzburger, ERC grantee (Starting Grant 2007 and Consolidator Grant 2013)
- Prof. Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, ERC grantee (Starting Grant 2009).
Two members of the ERC Scientific Council will also participate in the conference: Prof. Klaus Bock and Prof. Nils Chr. Stenseth.
ERC press activities
The ERC will hold a press briefing on Saturday 15 February at 14:00PM-14:45PM (Montreux Room 3, Swissôtel Chicago). For the first time in the United States as ERC President, Jean-Pierre Bourguignon will speak about how a young European research funding institution has been able to accomplish solid achievements by building on its relationship of trust with the scientific community. He will be accompanied by two ERC grantees.
The press briefing will be followed by bilateral interviews on Saturday 15 February from 15:00 to 17:00PM.
ERC President Jean-Pierre Bourguignon will also be a speaker at the European Commission Press Breakfast on Friday 14 February at 07:45-9:00AM (Montreux Room 3, Swissôtel Chicago) with Rudolf Strohmeier, RTD Deputy Director-General.
