BE OPEN - Science & Society Festival

The “BE OPEN Festival” will be held under the patronage of Austrian Federal President Van der Bellen.
The main purpose of the festival is to engage in an open dialogue with the general public, the scientific community, and key decision makers at national and European level with regard to the key role of basic research for societal development.

ERC Participation

European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas will  intervene on Wednesday 12 September and ERC Vice-President Prof. Klaus Bock will also be present on that day.
