  • Prof. Dr Elizabeth Blackburn, Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine 2009, Morris Herzstein Professor in Biology and Physiology, Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of California, San Francisco.

ERC Press activities

The ERC will hold a press conference on Wednesday 22 January at 14.45-15.15, “(Re) search for growth” (Press Conference room, Congress Centre).

Speakers: Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, Nobel Laureate Sir Tim Hunt and former ERC President Helga Nowotny.

They will speak about investing in R&D and the most creative ideas in and beyond times of budgetary restraint, and more.
