The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) will be the host organization. The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa will be the co-host organization. The meeting will be held in Tokyo, Japan from May 26-28. Topics for discussion by Heads of Research Council from around the world will include Research Funding for Scientific Breakthrough and Building Research and Education Capacity.
President Jean-Pierre Bourguignon and Dr. Theodore Papazoglou, Head of the Support Unit to the ERC Scientific Council, will be attending the event.
