Indian Science Congress

The Indian Science Congress, taking place in Chennai from 3 to 7 January, is one the biggest scientific events worldwide.
It provides thousands local and international participants with an opportunity to share expertise and experiences and to get updated information on science policies, developments and research opportunities.
The present edition will address several topics through plenaries, symposia, panels and round table deliberations.
The ERC will participate, thanks to the support of the EU Delegation office of New Delhi, in the event with a stand in the exhibitor's area as well as with an information session and a press briefing, with the participation of Massimo Gaudina, Jhansi Kota and Carla Palmieri, from the ERC Executive Agency, as well as with Dr Ramesh Pillai, ERC Starting Grantee 2010, who is carrying out his research at EMBL in Grenoble, France.
