Widening Participation Event

This event aims to:
 

• Highlight scientific achievements of ERC grantees in this region of Europe;
• Provide the occasion for the grantees to meet and connect with each other, and with the ERC Scientific Council, in order to inform about developments on ERC policy issues;
• Offer an opportunity to discuss administrative issues regarding the execution of the grant (“PI-centric” event, organised by the ERC Executive Agency),
• Furthermore, the ERC/Ideas National Contact Points (NCP), and policy makers of the region can use this event to deepen contact with grantees and ERC Scientific Council members;
• Bring together present and potential ERC applicants, i.e. anyone who is interested in applying for an ERC grant. Due to space restrictions, only 40 places are available. The invitation will be open to the public and the placing will follow the “first come-first served” order. (Registrations closed)
• The event is officially hosted by the President of the ERC, Professor Helga Nowotny
