World Conference of Science Journalists

Sir Tim Hunt, member of the ERC Scientific Council and a 2001 Nobel Prize Winner in Physiology/Medicine, will give an opening speech at the conference on 8 June. Dr Hunt and two ERC starting grants holders - Debra Laefer from University College Dublin in Ireland and Jennifer Gabrys from Goldsmiths, University of London in the UK – will also hold a special session presenting the ERC's unique role in European science and its potential as a source of newsworthy science stories.
