The ERC delegation will be led by its President, Prof. Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, and includes 13 ERC grantees (two Nobel laureates). Four of the grantees will take part as speakers in the ERC Ideas Lab session.

The ERC delegation will participate in 16 sessions in Davos, several of them running twice.

The ERC Ideas Lab session "The future of Computing" with ERC grantees professors Julie Grollier, Michael Hausser, Jeremy O'Brien and Ehud Shapiro will take place on the 21 January 14.45-16.00 (Congress centre) and 22 January 16.30-17.45 (the loft).

ERC President Bourguignon will speak in the session "Privatisation of Science" on 22 January 14.45–15.45.

ERC Press Conference
"Europe – magnet for talent" - Friday 22 January 12.30-13.00 with:

  • Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation
  • Prof. Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, ERC President
  • Prof. Hélène Rey, ERC Starting grant winner, who returned to Europe with her grant
