ERC at Geração Ciência festival 2026

On the 24 and 25 July of 2026, the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciência Viva Science Center, in Lisbon, will be the stage of the Geração Ciência Festival. Scientists and artists will engage with different audiences, through science presentations and experiments, talk shows, concerts, science shows, laboratory workshops, videoart shows and much more. 

Researchers will showcase their work, bringing science closer to society, from young children to adults and families. 

Several ERC grantees will be sharing their research, engaging with the public through different formats.

This event will simultaneously celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ciência Viva - the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture and the 27th anniversary of the Pavilion of Knowledge, the largest science centre in Portugal.

All activities of the festival are free.
