On 8-9 June, ERC President Maria Leptin will visit Slovenia and Croatia, where she will meet the Croatian Prime Minister, research Ministers of both countries, ERC grantees and the research community.

On 8 June, Prof. Leptin will meet the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Slovenia Dr. Igor Papič in Ljubljana. She will visit the University of Ljubljana (the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Biotechnical) and will speak at an event with ERC grantees  as well as at a press point. The visit then continues to the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana.

On the following day, 9 June, Prof Leptin will be joined by ERC Scientific Council member Milena Žic Fuchs in Zagreb, where they will meet Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, as well as Minister of Science and Education of Croatia, Dr. Radovan Fuchs. They will also speak at an event with ERC grantees, as well as at a press conference. The visit then continues to the Ruđer Bošković Institute.

The week after the visit, an ERC webinar focusing on ERC and national support measures for researchers in Slovenia will take place on 15 June.
