Science for Policy in Europe

The “Science for Policy in Europe Conference”, taking place between 10 and 11 October, will gather policymakers, science advisors, researchers, ethics experts, and other professionals in science-for-policy to discuss how to create better science-for-policy ecosystems in Europe.
 
On 10 October at 11.15-12.30, the ERC President Maria Leptin will participate in the session “Challenges, trends, and opportunities for the future of Science for Policy in Europe”. It will look at the main challenges and trends for evidence-informed policy-making and scientific advice in Europe and explore opportunities to develop it further. The panel will also address how to develop connections and promote interactions between the three Science for Policy communities (scientists, boundary organisations and policy-makers).
