ERC at EU Research and Innovation Week 2024

The ERC will take part in the Research and Innovation (R&I) Week (18-21 March) with a session on “Europe: a scientific powerhouse” featuring amongst others 2023 Nobel Prize laureate and longstanding ERC grantee Anne L’Huillier (18 March). ERC President Maria Leptin will speak at the closing of the event (21 March).
The R&I Week is a yearly series of events organised by the European Commission. Part of this week is the fifth edition of the EU R&I Days (20-21 March). Both events will be held in Tour and Taxis in Brussels, and online, allowing everyone to get involved from anywhere. Registration is open.
For online participation, please sign up at the research and innovation community platform (europa.eu).
This year’s EU R&I Days aims to provide the opportunity to debate how we can make Europe greener, fairer, and more competitive under a common narrative: a 40-year journey through the EU R&I Framework Programmes. Participants will have the opportunity to discover EU-funded research and innovation projects, and debate the importance of continued investment in R&I.
Join policymakers, researchers, innovators, and other stakeholders, and discover high-level speakers, policy debates, funding and networking opportunities, dedicated workshops, pitching sessions to investors and exhibitions showcasing EU-funded projects.
