ERC President visits Lithuania and Estonia

On 10 and 11 June, ERC President Maria Leptin is visiting Lithuania and Estonia to meet research representatives, ERC grantees and the research community in both countries as well as the highest political level.
On 10 June, Prof. Leptin is meeting the Prime Minister of Lithuania Gintautas Paluckas in Vilnius and is visiting the Research Council of Lithuania. She is also meeting ERC grantees and is taking part in additional events with the research community and policy-makers including a roundtable discussion on Excellent Science.
On the following day, 11 June, Prof. Leptin meets President Alar Karis, and Prime Minister Kristen Michal, as well as the Deputy Secretary General for Research of Estonia, Renno Veinthal and the President of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and former Vice-President of the ERC, Mart Saarma. President Leptin will also speak at an event with ERC grantees. Link to the webstreamed public event (from 11.00 – 12.25).
In Estonia an additional event will take place in Tartu on 12 June with ERC Representatives.
