Building ERC capacity starts well before a researcher begins preparing a proposal. This online webinar will explore how researchers and the organisations and systems supporting them can strengthen ERC readiness, and what practical steps can help build a stronger pipeline of future ERC applicants.
Participants will hear about relevant changes in the ERC Work Programme 2027, explore the ERC Mentoring Initiative from both the mentee and mentor perspective, and learn how Visiting Fellowships and other forms of support can help researchers prepare. Practical examples from Portugal, Poland, Slovenia and Estonia will show how national and institutional support can contribute at different stages of the journey towards an ERC application.
Researchers, mentors and experts will share first-hand experience and practical advice, with time for questions and discussion on possible next steps.
